Nextar C3. I had the Magellan Roadmate 2000 from Radio Shack for about $220 total. I returned it before the 30 days were up (no restock fee).
The Magellan eliminated letters and numbers if they are not possible to be in the name. The C3 filters and displays the choice as you type. Different approach; same results.
