680 can ALREADY support SDHC and larger-then-4Gb cards out of the box. Palm never admitted it, that's all ... Could be the update fixes some holes, but the functionality is already there since over a year. BTW that update is AT&T only for the moment though there is some creative road when searching on TreoCentral. I already have it on my unlocked device for some weeks, no issues that I could see with my usage pattern.
