I had a similar issue, and just trudged through. After an hour, I jjust yanked the phone off the cradle, did a hard reset, then did the update. Worked fine that time, I surmise I did not have enough free memory. Then did a restore from Resco. Can't find the alleged MP3 support for ringtones, nor the additional power saving options. But perhaps I read too much into the description... Joe
