Oh man. Make 1 mistake, get it rubbed in three times ... ;) On TreoCentral is a thread where you find a modified ROM image for 680 removing some of the 'fat' which you can live without (in my case: old PTunes, DtG, VersaMail, ADDIT, Quick Tour, ...). This can be applied to whatever carrier-branded device, also unlocked. Additional plus: extra DbCache !! When the AT&T update came out, those guys applied the same procedure to that version so it also became available for unlocked devices.
