I used to have TomTom GPS for my old Tungsten T3 which was `retired`
after I got a Treo for Christmas.

However, TomTom allowed me to re-register my UK street-level maps onto
the 2 gb SD card that I put into the Treo.

So now, even though the hardware/receiver to access the satellites is no
longer there I can still use all the route planning, mapping and
`favorites` markers.

Don`t know what the cost of doing it this way is (probably prohibitive)
but it certainly works for me.
