I predicted it as soon as Foleo came out if you read my archived posts (can't recall if it was here or TreoCentral.com) > 8-track tapes. Vista 64 is a dictate from my employer for technical reasons (my laptop was issued to me not just for word processing and email). > > Did you check out Art's link from earlier: > http://www.zimbra.com/products/desktop_features.html Looks like it > might be helpful in your short-term needs. Our firm uses Zimbra server, and I have Zimbra desktop as an optional alternative to Outlook. Maybe I overlooked something in Art's post but I still can't seem to find a way to synch Zimbra with my Treo 680 to tide me over until AT&T offers a Pre or Eos or other WebOS device. I tried the Zimbra mobile-specific HTML interface. It could have been the transition tool for me, but there's a problem... while there's an Add option for contacts and Compose new emails, there's none for calendar entries. I.E, you can't create calendar entries from the Zimbra mobile web interface. I have a lot of calendar and contact entries daily. I'm angry at MSFT for many things in addition to that. I learned to curse like a salty sailor because of my experiences with MSFT going back to DOS 3.11 But Palm deserves to blame here, too.
