Landscape is only available to certain apps out of the box, like the web
browser and pictures/camera. Some others you can get it to work via a "patch"
but that requires a little set up. Not hard but if you aren't at all
tech-savvy then it might be a little frightening ;-)

Smaller's not a problem. No landscape was a bit of a disappointment.
OTOH, the store guy said it does, so maybe I haven't hit the right
combination or buttons and need. OTOOH, he admitted not knowing a lot
about the Pre. He's an Android kind of guy.
All these new gestures are going to take some learning. And I
still don't know what exactly I did to get the calendar to stop telling
me about my granddaughter's birthday.
And I must figure out how to get EverNote onto it.
But I've been working this morning, only got the Pre last night,
and I'm sure I'll learn stuff as I play more.
