Landscape works in certain apps, not in all environments. It's meant
to be mostly a portrait-style phone, so the launcher, keyboard,
calendar, and many core apps don't do landscape (they're optimized for
portrait viewing anyway). Things that do landscape include YouTube
viewer (of course), browser, Email (may need a patch...don't recall),
and PDF viewer (with a patch), and there may be some others.
Personally, I find landscape rather annoying since I'm used to the
portrait format of my Treo/Centro over the years.
