Seriously? Really now...your entire world revolves around one little feature like this?
I suggest (as I did already) that you export your memos to Evernote, which you can then categorize as you wish using tags and other means, and then access them on your Pre by searching for that tag. The Treo is a dead platform...your ship is sinking...either get off now with a good solution available to you and the time to work out your migration strategy, or be forced off suddenly (e.g., when your phone is lost/dies) with no better options (or possibly fewer) at some later date...the choice is up to you.
