I'm on Pre Plus #3, and finally this one seems to be working correctly. The first one would randomly lose the Verizon network connection and EVDO even though the signal was strong. (Confirmed by comparing it to my son's Pre Plus, side by side. His works fine.) Also, it would not stay logged into the network when on the charger. Never failed, 1.5 minutes after plugging it on the charger cable, it'd drop the network connection and say "Searching". It would only resume the connection after unplugging from the charger. I got it exchanged at the Verizon retail store this morning and sat in parking lot for a few minutes checking out the new one. On this unit, the "R" key wouldn't work 8 out of 10 times. It worked if you pressed hard, but would not work with a light touch even though the "click" is heard and the tactile feedback was felt. So, I'm on #3 now. After 2 hrs, all seems well. George
