We are a picky and demanding bunch. We know what these things can be, since
we've seen so much.

The Pre is a first generation device running a first generation operating
system. It's been incrementally improved, and I guess it's the promise that
things will continuously improve that keeps us interested.

Every device has its plusses and minuses.

Cheers,

Don

Subject: [Treo] Why Buy?

OK so I see all these issues with speed, lack of features, etc and I wonder

what about the Pre is so much better than, say, a Treo Pro? Why should
I aspire to own one? Not necessarily as compared to other touch-based
smartphones, but as compared to the old-guard I suppose.
