I guess I've never had a problem with syncing on my Pro.

I guess this is one area where it could excel vs the Treo pro - as
long as there was a way to be able to view documents without L-R
scrolling as well as in pinch mode.

it sounds like a bother. When I last played with a Pre, I didn't
notice it as an impediment,  tho i admittedly didn't type much

I find that I use my phone mostly for email, less so for calendar and
contact maintenance, and (especially when away from home) media
playing - both podcasts and recorded TV shows. It sounds like the
latter isn't really an option (unless I setup some additional
conversions) because of the WMV issue and the former will not work
well in the stock media player. I also use the camera and the maps a
fair bit. I suppose I should do what you did and try it out for 30
days and see, but somehow I just have a feeling i'd drop the thing and
be stuck not being able to return it.
