I've installed both Desktop and Pre-based Secret. Haven't been able to
Sync. The web site says sync by wifi, but when I try, the Pre appears to
be asking for HOST:PORT and I don't know where to look for what it wants.
I've been happy with Secret for years, through PalmOS to WinMob
and now, if sync works, WebOS.
I agree with Don, BTW, about sensitive information in the cloud.
On the one hand, we put all manner of sensitive information in the cloud
every time we order from Amazon or eBay or, dar I say it, the App
Catalog. After all, I gave Palm my credit card for a .99 purchase. I
hope if I make an unplanned trip to Hawaii tomorrow, I get to go along.
Still, no sense making it easy by putting all my confidential info
in the same place, and that includes on my own computer, without some
reliable encryption.
