Speaking for me, I've been using Secret! since it came recommended to me
back the PalmOS/Pre-Treo days. So I trust Andreas based on previous
favorable experience.
I used to HotSync by Bluetooth. I suspect using WiFi is similarly
secure - or not.
It's not a constant sync. I make a change on the PC, and, unlike
Google contacts/calendar, the edit does not immediately show up on the
Pre. And vice versa. So it seems the sync must be deliberately
initiated, from the Pre.
Now for conjecture:
a. my wifi is passworded, so outsiders can't get in.
b: the "host" is teh IP address of the PC. It's probably fairly safe to
believe another PC attempting to sync with it would have a different IP.
Anyway, the sync has to be initiated from the Pre.
So, for now, I think it's as secure as anything else I've got on my PC/Pre.
