Heck, companies have been delta-testing products for years in their 0.1
releases.  Iambic made a habit of it.  I eventually learned never to
purchase an iambic upgrade until 0.04 was out.

Same thing for Word Perfect in its heyday, even when it was the #1 word
processing software.

Why should Palm (or any other company) be any different?  People are so
eager to sop up the newness that they don't care that it's riddled with
bugs.  That's why they say you can always tell the pioneers by the arrows in
their backs.

Took me long enough, but I watch, wait, let things stabilize, then go with
what's working. Remember, they're supposed to be productivity tools, not
toys.
