No, I don't think I can sync with Google if I'm syncing locally with Outlook. Can I?

I have it and it works well. The far-from-universality of Universal Search is one of my biggest complaints with the Pre. I really miss being able to search for strings in Contacts and Calendar. I have this search capability for Notes and Tasks because I use the Chapura Pocket Mirror versions of those apps. I sure wish Chapura would come out with equally enhanced versions of Contacts and Calendar. Sure would like it to be, though. In Google contacts, and on my old Treo, I could put in ths guys name and all the contacts containing the name would pop up. Not so anymore. I get the contact where it's in the name field, but not where it's in the notes field. Bummer. ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
