I sync my Outlook with Google (for Calendar and Contacts) via CompanionLink.

No, I don't think I can sync with Google if I'm syncing locally with Outlook.
Can I?

There is a Google Calendar Search app...if you are syncing your calendar via
Google.

I have it and it works well.

This was one of the items on the webOS wishlist that Craig assembled about a

month ago. The far-from-universality of Universal Search is one of my

biggest complaints with the Pre. I really miss being able to search for

strings in Contacts and Calendar. I have this search capability for Notes

and Tasks because I use the Chapura Pocket Mirror versions of those apps. I

sure wish Chapura would come out with equally enhanced versions of Contacts

and Calendar.

Subject: [Treo] Universal Search not quite universal

I just discovered, because I't not tried it until now, that the

universal search isn't really universal. Sure would like it to be, though.

In Google contacts, and on my old Treo, I could put in ths guys

name and all the contacts containing the name would pop up. Not so

anymore. I get the contact where it's in the name field, but not where

it's in the notes field.

Bummer.
