I have yet to install any patches! I'm nervous about messing up the phone, having to wipe it clean and start all over, etc. I understand that the latest patching software obviates the need to remove the patches before upgrading the OS, but I know some of you had issues with the 1.4 upgrade and certain patches.
While we're on the topic, how does one remove the patches anyway? Do you have to keep track of which apps are homebrew, remove them one at a time, and then reinstall them after upgrading the OS?
