You are not alone... I too am hesitant...because I just don't have the time to 
mess with it all, especially if something goes wrong and/or when it is time to 
update.

I have yet to install any patches!  I'm nervous about messing up the phone,

having to wipe it clean and start all over, etc.   I understand that the

latest patching software obviates the need to remove the patches before

upgrading the OS, but I know some of you had issues with the 1.4 upgrade and

certain patches.  



While we're on the topic, how does one remove the patches anyway?  Do you

have to keep track of which apps are homebrew, remove them one at a time,

and then reinstall them after upgrading the OS?

George, try the patch "Snooze Duration Selection" and you can pick from a

selection of different times every time an alert comes up.
