It's true, I do normally put 2 spaces after a period at the end of a sentence. That's standard formatting for typed text. But others do the same, as in your paragraph below, so why are *your* 2 spaces better than *my* 2 spaces??? :-)
I had also noticed HTML code in places other than spaces between sentences. I suspected it was from editing typos, but apparently that doesn't make a difference. And it should be noted, this only happens with posts to this Yahoo group, and nowhere else. I will send a few more test messages, to see what happens with 1 space vs. 2 between sentences. You might want to try testing this out, George. Post a couple more messages, one with two spaces in a row, another with only one space. Also, if you include a space at the end of a line (before hitting return), this will probably also cause the issue. Of course, it should be smart enough to deal with all this, but I guess for now it's not!
