publishing standard is one space. As Craig mentioned, it's becoming de 
facto standard everywhere -- except for folks who learned to keyboard on 
a typewriter.
      Still, it shouldn't matter - but here's an idea that doesn't make 
a lot of sense. (I'm thinking back to it being bad to have a number in 
the Contacts Name field - though some records with numbers didn't have a 
problem so in the end it didn't make much sense, either.)

Try turning off your signature - the one that says "sent from my Pre.

I'm wondering if some combo of the extra spaces and maybe a pair of them 
being too close to what turns on the html at the signature.
