That's a very shortsighted approach, since, if you're set on a smartphone, you'll find yourself in an even more dire situation when, in a year or so, the device dies/breaks/disappears and you're forced onto something different anyway, but without the luxury of time to consider your options or wait for better ones.
The Treo Pro isn't WinMo 6.5, nor will it ever be, so that's not a good option. The same goes for all Palm OS devices. Viable choices today are richer than ever: WinMo 6.5, WinPhone 7, Android, webOS, iPhone, Blackberry, and Maemo. He asked about the Palm OS devices as well, and they are also not supported. At least WM still has life, WM6.5 and eventually WM 7, where as Palm OS is over. Its been replaced with Web OS.. _____________________________________ Blackberry PIN 216AB19A Blackberry, Treo, Windows Mobile, iPhone Repair Motorola 2-Way Radio Service and Technical Consulting _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Craig Froehle Sent: Saturday, April 10, 2010 2:41 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Treo] Re: Treo 680 or 750 Right...I wouldn't want to invest in a phone that both has a deprecated operating system and has been declared dead by its OEM.
