They do seem to come in mindless droves. There are a lot of people who 
are not happy with me because (despite my love of the iPhone) I am 
getting rid of the iPad I won...just don't get it.

Remember the movie Conspiracy Theory? Every time Jerry saw a copy of 
Catcher in the rye he HAD to buy it. It's like that with the true Apple 
fanfolk...Apple releases a product, they MUST buy it - even if it's a 
dried turd with the Apple logo on it. <sigh>
