Well, I love my iPad. You're absolutely right that it has many flaws and is inferior to other devices for many tasks. Its created a new class of devices wedged between smartphones and netbooks. If I'm standing in line or need to quickly check something, I'm going to use my Palm Pre. If I want to write something of significance, I'm going to use my laptop. But if I'm on my hour-long train commute and just want to read my Yahoo Group emails or check out Facebook, the iPad rules.
I'm sure you're right that the iPad doesn't fit into your life, but it's been godsend for me (despite it's many compromises and flaws). -- Alec Usticke [email protected] www.usticke.org On Jul 2, 2010, at 10:09 AM, Alli <[email protected]> wrote: > Because I just don't see the point.
