Mine gets lots and lots of use, as I'm a road warrier. (for instance, the past 2 weeks I have logged over 2,000 miles).
Generally the priblems have been related to some sort of hardware failure. My current Garmin seems to become touchscreen unresponsive every 2-3 weeks, and then comes backntomlife if it'snunused for 3-4 days. Needless to say, when I needed it for directions out of town, it failed according to Murphy's Law. At that point it was again time to replace or do something else...I found an iPad replacement that seems to work well for $3...if I want voice commands it costs $25 per year. The question is how much the data use will cos, but other than that it seems like a good deal.
