How did he "cook his own goose"? He never mentioned BestBuy in the video. In fact, Best Buy was never brought into it until Best Buy chose to take action..and spotlight the issue unto themselves.
So it is okay for an employer to term an employee because they don't like something that was posted on a blog etc?
