Hi Guys

The law was placed to control people who control themselves right!

Imagine if everyone at their bespoke convictions set up what they deemed was
right to protect themselves what it would be like.

I am not in detail about the case but I think where people reside you don't
set up voltage enough to kill someone, it should be enough to fend of
someone but not to kill.

It's a thin line that looks rational at first but can evolve into something
else if not controlled. I don't think what he put up was endorsed by the
laws that brackets him and with what the verse says I rightfully agree with
Chief roots

-1 and +1 are extremes but note that a zero is in between

Kind regards

Hie there Paida!!

Well it's an interesing debate you have started!! Well what I can say is
that whilst a thief should justifiably face the full wrath of the law for
their action, there is no condemnation for protecting your property from
intrusion. However, the fact that the owner of the tree is being tried is
contestable, in my opinion because it's like I have a barbed wire ober my
property and yu try to skip over it and you rip yourself in the process.
Surely I cannot be held liable given my protection.

As for the Provers scripture that you quoted, my understanding is that to
not despise a thief does not mean that there is no need to arrest. The thief
should be apprehended and the law must take its course but yours is to
forgive the thief given the motive. I must admit that it's quite difficult
to balance and have peace of mind but we have GRACE!!!

Those are just my views dunno what the others think..........

okay guys i got a serious question to ask , i read in the paper that there
are these two pple who were electrocuted , whilst trying to steal Avocados
from an avocado tree .Okay the owner of the tree had connected a live wire
to the tree bcz of the many cases of theft , so one night these two pple
decided to steal some avos and they were quite unfortunate and they were
electrocuted .so now the owner of the tree is in court being charged for
connecting the live wire , my question is ,

was it wrong for him to do wat he did , and shd he be charged ?i i was
thinking wat he did was ok bcz pple were trspasing and wat cd stop them from
stealing other things if they had the nerve to climb his fence and steal
avos , ?????thn now i read from Proverbs 6 vs 30 in ydays bible reading that
" Pple do not despise a thief ,if he steals to satisfy himself whn he is
starving ,yet whn he is found ,he must restore sevenhold,he may give up all
the substance of his house "

so my question still stands , am a bit confused now , was the man wrong in
protecting his household ??????
