I too sometimes feel anxious...................... and this week in
particular I have been so anxious about a lot of things!

During the Midweek Service we did an interesting exercise with Pastor
David Divelbliss. He asked everyone in the room to write a list of their
major worries and concerns on a piece of paper. Afterwards he then asked
us to come up to the front with our pieces of paper, he then told us to
crumple them and then to throw them at the wall. This was signifying us
CASTING all cares n burdens unto the Lord.

He then said after casting all cares unto the Lord you need to have
faith (remember faith is an Action word meaning u do all you can.... so
that things work out) and you also enter God's rest ( that's having
peace knowing that u have put all your trust in God and u have done all
u can). He also urged us to remember that the Battle is not ours but
the Lord's.

So nw if I worry about anything I just write on a piece of paper and bin
it!

Too true hey. Today I was actually thinking how they must be a
management mechanism for wayward emotions. For me its not really the
anger but its when I get anxious about something. I was actually
thinking about that Scripture that says be anxious for nothing but in
everything by prayer and supplication make your requests known unto God.
I thought to myself...hmmm Tsungi it would really be good to practice
that. For me it shows that there is something in me that doesn`t
completely trust God otherwise I wouldn`t get bent out of shape because
of anxiety.

Can you guys share of times when you tempted to walk out of order with
your emotions and how you gained the victory?
