In Romans 6 today we read of sin and grace. As man, naturally we are sinners
but God's grace is sufficient or all of us.
'Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death, that like as Christ
was raised up from the dead by the glory of the father, even so we also shld
walk in the newness of life.' Romans 6:4
i am humbled by the fact that at baptism, sin is buried and grace is given to
us.
'Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.'
Romans 6:18
we therefore no longer serve sin, but have been made servants of righteousness.
But does this mean that Christians do not sin?
I believe that it is a concious decision that one makes to walk in
righteousness everyday. In this world we live, it is easier to sin than it is
to live a righteous life. As we died with Christ by choice, we also live and
tap into the Grace given to us by choice.
I pray that we may continue to be servants of grace and choose to flee sin.
