Debian is fully free anyway, so there is no non-free software in the standard Debian repository. Only the repositories that can be activated after installation manually can contain non-free firmware and maybe some other non-free stuff.
Debian is not recommended by the FSF because Iceweasel recommends non-free plugins and add-ons and because you can activate repositories with non-free software easily.
