Eeeehm, how can I say this:
Mixing repositories of different distributions is the best way to get a
screwed up system. May be second close to remove /etc and /usr on your PC.
You need to understand this:
Any Linux distro of a certain version is somehwat of a software eco-system.
Packages are build with certain asumptions in regard to available versions,
libs, etc.
You might get away by interchanging repos between Trisquel and the
corresponding Ubuntu Release. May be even with using repos from other
distribs being based on the same Ubuntu version as Trisquel (e.g. Mint). But
you will never get away mixing things between lets say Debian 6, Ubuntu 11.04
and Trisquel 5.5.
