I don't read it very often but I've seen an article by RMS in the Guardian (UK mainstream broadsheet paper guardian.co.uk ) where he criticises Google for privacy invasion wrt Android. Saying while it is better in that most of the code is free software, users often lose that in practice, so better than Apple but still not right.

RMS also guests on the BBC website from time to time.

Just because it's not on the fsf / gnu etc websites doesn't mean the board members aren't actively criticising where due in other public media.
