I think it's mostly things that windows 7 HAS and trisquel does not. Such as  
DRM. I once tried to transfer a file from a computer to a external hdd.  
Windows did not let me, because the file had microsoft DRM.

Trisquel is faster, easier to install, you can change gui a lot more easily.
