Hi! Flash is nonfree, so a lot of online videos have problems. Since gnash (the free flash alternative) is not adequate in my opinion, the best solution I have found is to go to the "plugins" menu on the firefox addons page and change "Shockwave Flash" to "never activate. This will cause a lot of sites will then recognize that you have no flash player and default to using HTML5, which will play much more nicely.

I also recommend getting the "greasemonkey" extension and then find the specific greasemonkey script called "viewtube". Then when you want to watch a video, you can choose the new options both WebM and HTML5.

It's unfortunate that it's this much of a hassle, but once you have it set up it's not too bad.
