Hi! Flash is nonfree, so a lot of online videos have problems. Since gnash
(the free flash alternative) is not adequate in my opinion, the best solution
I have found is to go to the "plugins" menu on the firefox addons page and
change "Shockwave Flash" to "never activate. This will cause a lot of sites
will then recognize that you have no flash player and default to using HTML5,
which will play much more nicely.
I also recommend getting the "greasemonkey" extension and then find the
specific greasemonkey script called "viewtube". Then when you want to watch
a video, you can choose the new options both WebM and HTML5.
It's unfortunate that it's this much of a hassle, but once you have it set up
it's not too bad.
