Well now, I have ran into new problems, Last night I installed Wine and  
Madori browser, however it must be noted I'm running the operating system  
from a USB, not sure the reason but when I booted it up this morning those  
things I installed are now gone.

Does this mean booting Trisquel from a USB stick launches the OS for the  
"first time" every time?

^and upon typing that sentence I noticed it also switched back to English US  
keyboard instead of UK which I selected last night.
