So I've just recently upgraded to Trisquel 7 (been using Toutatis since it came out) and I'm loving it so far.

One problem I've encountered, though, is since installing gnome 3 shell, I have duplicate icons for many applications in the "Activities" menu.

Not only are the icons duplicated, but they're slightly different and sometimes the names are different, like they're different versions of the same apps. Furthermore, they seem to actually open different applications when clicked, so it looks like I actually have duplicate versions of all these apps installed. They're mostly control-panel type apps.

Here's a list:

* Input Method / Keyboard (Different name, same icon)
* Onboard / Onboard Settings (Different name, same icon)
* Network / Network (Same name, different icon)
* Online Accounts / Online Accounts (Same name, different icon)
* Printers / Printers (Same name same icon)
* Software Updater / Software & Updates (Different name, different icon)
* User Accounts / Users & Groups (Different name, same icon)

Does anyone know how I can remove the duplicates and just keep the correct / most recent versions of these apps?

Thanks.
