No, I don't see it as advantageous, period. You seem to be under the  
impression that being a part of a Web browser is a deal-breaker, and I  
completely disagree. I once used Netscape, which comes with an email client,  
but that didn't get me off of webmail. Why should the situation with Skype be  
any different?
