When you say "old Windows system", I assume you mean an older version of  
Windows than Windows 10, no? Ubuntu 14.04 was released in 2014. Windows 10  
was released in 2015. It isn't surprising to me at all if the version of  
Ubiquity in Ubuntu 14.04, and thus Trisquel 7, is unable to detect Windows 10  
properly. Allenitomwesh said specifically that it was Windows 10 that he had  
difficulty setting up dual-booting with.
