Gitlab as a code-hosting service has a 'C' grade. The actual software is free
software, which is what Trisquel runs on its servers.
Don't jump to conclusions prematurely.
Also, it is not so bad to host software on Gitlab, in my opinion. The site
can mostly be used without running JavaScript, which itself is free. I have
come to the conclusion that JS, even 'libre' JS, is bad by design, so whether
it is compatible or not is irrelevant for me, as I use NoScript to block the
lot.
It would be good for Gitlab to become LibreJS compatible though.
