I have to completely disagree that to "get mad" and throw a tantrum is ever  
the right thing to do. I also don't think trying to shun the family that you  
are still financially dependent on is a wise move. Frankly, if you are out of  
high school and your parents are still financially supporting you, you should  
count yourself lucky. Not all parents are able and willing to do this. If you  
don't like their house rules, work to make yourself financially independent  
and move out of the house.
