By using a proprietary program, you are agreeing to unjust EULA (End User
License Agreement) which states that they can collect your data and do other
malicious actions against you and your freedom.
Don't use proprietary software.
PowerPoint you say? PowerPoint is a part of Microsoft Office Suite. Have you
read their EULA? If so, do you accept it?
Don't use software which EULA you don't agree with.
Use software under GPL freedom respecting license.
Read GPL and compare it to MS Office EULA or MS Windows EULA or your iPhone
EULA.
