Stallman said you should fight for your freedom. Do not surrender to the  
proprietary software, fight with is by not using it and by encouraging others  
to not use proprietary software. Ideally you should never use proprietary  
software, no matter what happens.
In reality there is Windows everywhere. Where I work they have strict rules:  
MS Windows, MS Office, MS Edge. Calibri, Times, Arial, Courrier New fonts  
only. And all documents should be in OOXML - docx, docm, xlsx, xlsm. But at  
home I use only free software.
In reality sometimes life just sucks, you can't do anything about it.
