Hey, I suggest you guys start a group in Second Life. That way, you can meet in
a virtual world and discuss ideas and have shared sessions.

That way, a group could go over the cryptic text piece by piece and see where
everybody gets stuck and find ways to get people unstuck. You can choose to
have a Texting only environment, a speaking only environment, or both.

I've looked for a SecondLife Group for Trom almost every six months for about a
year now.

And for the record, I don't believe in Dennis' claims that TROM actually leads
to enlightenment. I think the process has merit in this life though. I find
"timebreaking" to be most helpful with things I experience in present time. And
the gaming structures he uses are interesting and the only such model I have
found that goes with a spiritual practice.

Good TROMMING.

Hello Pete and fellow Trommers,

This is my two cents worth:

MIke has a very valid point and request. TROM does indeed need a
simplification. Like he says, a TROM for dummies.

It is time to call a spade a spade. It is time to as- is TROM. It is time
to get honest. For only being honest , seeing honestly, speaking honestly
will set people free.

In fact this is one of the keys to staying clear and stable. The trouble is
that most people do not know what the word honest means, actually I will
expand that to read "full spectrum" honesty.

Total integrity, total honesty. No denial or avoidance or dramatizing Dennis
or, what ever.

From what I gather, I am realizing more and more in a way that I have never
understood before that true total honesty, honest thinking, honest perception,
no mind games, no nonsense thinking or talk, no junk thinking, no junk talk,
no stupid thinking, no stupid talk, total as -ising , with a proper
lifestyle, free of vices, free of escapism activities, proper diet, may take a
person to clear ( nirvana ) ( God mind ) over time.

It is likely at least what is required to stay in that state. It would take
more than a page to explain what it all means. Much of it is described in
the book of Deuteronomy.
Emphasis ch 27 - 28.

I see that that much desired ideal state of mind can actually be placed on a
scale much like the emotional tone scale. I just went and looked at the scn
chart of human evaluation to see if was there. Honesty is not specifically
listed, but can be deduced from the data listed to some degree. Although it
could be discussed some where else in specific detail. On the other hand
Hubbard was not really qualified to comment on it either, because he had a lot
to learn about what it really meant also. But I do give Hubbard credit for
going as afar as he did.

The story of TROM is much like the story of "The Emperor has no clothes.".

What is the story of the Emperor has no clothes? : I got this from the net.
The story of a king, so into himself, he could not see his own failings and his
people, so eager to please him, refused to see those failings.

One day the King goes to the tailor to get new clothes and the tailor, who is
not a fan of the King, convinces the king that he made him a wonderful
"invisible" suit of clothing and that he looks wonderful in it. Townspeople, in
their own blindness to truth, agree that the king looks like he just stepped
out of GQ. But a little boy is the one who bursts the bubble by seeing the king
on in skivvies and lets everyone know and the people come to their senses.

Dennis is far from what he wants people to think he is. Dennis is far from
what some people claim he is. He is extremely arrogant and sarcastic.

Dennis speaks in a language of mind games, riddles, clues, abbreviations,
short hand like speech, bullshit, brain f***ings, false data, traps, trap
locks , and possibly other stuff.

In other words he speaks in a way that he does not want the reader to know or
understand and plays games with the readers mind while doing so.

A game of "must know" and "must not know" at the same time, with emphasis on
"must not know" .

This is contrary to reason for or behind the whole process. The elimination
of games.

As far as I can tell, the TROM book may well contain the best solo
process laced in amongst the bull shit stuff described above. ( Based on
the fact that I had some success with it although after much agony in
deciphering and effort. ) ( I have bogged down on L3. )

But I can't say for certain because I have not been able to complete it. I
can honestly only speak on personal experience, I cannot entirely go on
testimonials or anecdotal evidence . Although such are encouraging and more
should be encouraged. Not like like the trap that Dennis cleverly inserts
that success stories are not necessary. Success stories when honestly
written can serve other purposes than selling new comers.

Dennis plays a very cunning, clever and complex game. Any perceptually
honest person can see this.

I hear him saying and laughing to himself in the background: here is the best
solo technique you will likely find anywhere, but it may take you years to
figure it out if you ever do.

And like Judith said, it is best done by some one who completed the
scientology bridge.

Some one who has at least first gone clear in scientology, which gives a
person much more solo processing horsepower.

In fact I understand there are some people ( many years back ) who had a
lot of experience in scientology who tried to do it and could not do it and
asked Dennis to simplify it and he held to his game and refused to do it so
they dropped it.

I give credit where credit is due. I have to call a spade a spade. I give
credit that the TROM book may well CONTAIN the best solo technique. I give
credit to Dennis for the part of his book that may contain the best solo
process to date. And not for the stuff that is not helpful.

But TROM is not a useable or practical technique the way it exists, for
most. There is no good reason to have a process so difficult.

The truth flows towards simplicity, not complexity and confusion. People who
speak or write in complex language either do not understand it or have
something to hide.

I want to make the best of TROM  and want to see it made  what it should be;
gleaned and rewritten in clear language on a proper gradient.

Pete, it is not a good idea to send some one to the archives to look for
explanations. That is similar to a wild bird chase.

Few people have that much time to do so, even if there was much useful
information there.

And the same goes for listening to all the so called "help data" , tapes and
transcripts.

Dennis is a very clever mind game player and manipulator. He is able to
make things look helpful while not being so.

Dennis' words that no one should change what he wrote, that he is not
enamored with his writing style, and that any one can do it, are all traps
and lies.

There are many more.

The best thing that can happen to TROM is that all those who have completed
TROM should glean ( separate the useful data (tech) from the crap ) and
rewrite it in clear language on a suitable gradient. In professional style.
For only then will TROM achieve it's goal.

There should be several rewrites by several people, similar to what is being
done and has been done in scientology. Building better bridges. That way
students can have several different perspectives to see and understand TROM.

That does not mean that Dennis' original version has to be gotten rid of,
certainly not. It can and should remain as is . The student can always have
the original for reference. And they should be encouraged to read the original
as well as the rewrites and see the big picture.

Not to go beyond boundaries , grow and improve, means to wither and die. The
evolution of knowledge on this plane does not work that way ( is not static )
. If that was the case we would still be living in caves.

A person who writes a great piece of work like scn or TROM operating on
total integrity and honesty will say, here this is what I have done for you.

He speaks in clear language. He speaks in a way that helps the student to
understand. He wants the student to understand. Then says; now you can take
it and improve upon it.

He does not lace it with traps, false data and put a lock on it.

That is the way I see it.

On the other hand I could be all wrong.

It could be that everyone "gets" TROM and has no real problems with it, only
me. But I doubt it. I just don't get that feeling.

There are a number of people who have came to this group and left because they
could not get any practical help or support.

I personally sent a friend to this group and he did not have a good experience
here. And he is of well above average intelligence and ability.

I would like an honest show of posts from all those that think that TROM is
written in clear language and has no problems with TROM, and all those who are
having difficulty with TROM.

I would like to see an honest show of posts from those who think that TROM
should not be rewritten ( simplified ) in clear language, and from those
who think it should be rewritten in clear language and on a suitable gradient.
.

It won't hurt to " as - is" this situation. It will do a lot of good to
be honest.

By being truly and completely honest a lot of people could be helped.

Yours truly,

David Pelly
