Hi David
Your post was rather interesting and I worry you will cop some flack from it
but I admire the courage with which you must have written it.
My two cents on Honesty begins with what it means when we are inclined to be
dishonest. Why is one dishonest. In simple terms it is because you are trying
to solve a problem, real or imagined. You are intending to move forward with
the achievement of some immediate goal or a long term one and for one reason or
another you are challenged in that moving forward. What you are trying to
achieve is not straight forward, the forward motion encounters barriers which
essentilly equate as problems. One can solve these problems openly and within
the agreed upon rules of the group or one can solve them covertly through
dishonesty. ie do things that would not be acceptable to the group (perhaps
even harmfull to some or all of it) that would yet also bring about a quick
achievement of the intended goal.
For example:
Stealing (of whatever) solves a problem of something needed.
Falsifying a resume solves the problem of a better job.
In short dishonesty is the doingness believed necessary to solve a problem.
Dishonesty then requires that one be in one of lifes many and varied game
situations as this is where problems will manifest.
The way to be honest then is not to be in a games situation, Not easy as these
things can and are often compulsive.
So yes as you say the way to honesty is to eat properly, listen to others,
avoid sillyness, speak so you are understood, etc etc etc. Live your life in a
way that does not lead you into a game situation and thus problems.
Anyway enough waffle on that.
I quite liked TROM theory, I found it a more easier subject to get my wits
around than GPM tech in which I am also fully trained. TROM is much more
simplistic in its approach and tends to run more in the "file clerk" manner,
the mind presenting what needs to be run when it needs to be run. Much less
chance of plowing yourself into over charged areas which do exist.
Time breaking is the tool with which things are run and this is also a
wonderfully workable approach to dealing with charged pictures that come up.
I was about five years ago a "TROMER" and ran it with the emeter. The emeter
was usefull for identifying areas that needed to be run as apposed to what I
wanted to run and also told me when I could finish running what was being run.
TROM was good when I did it and I still use the time breaking technique "on the
run" when situations require. I dont though do TROM anymore having lost
interest and broadened my horizons to other things.
I found though like you that the TROM "manual" was some what difficult to fully
grasp and required sections to be re read many times. I am dissapointed in
Dennis as this is something that needs rectification.
The explanation by Home is far better. You should study that if not yet done.
LRH would have us believe that he achieved some high state and yet an
examination of the mans behaviour in the last 15 years of his life tends to
suggest that despite all the processing he did he was in fact worse than he was
in the 1950's. A crotchy old man as much prone to human failings as anybody and
an insatiable appetite for money to say just a little.
So weighing up what the man said he has achieved spiritually and looking
objectively at what he actually was you see the incongruity. Did Ron really
solve the puzzle - perhaps not.
That conclusion though hasnt stopped me from doing NOTs and continuing my
tentative steps into the GPM case. Perhaps there is no pot of gold at the end
of this rainbow but its still interesting and kind of fun to look.
Same can be said for Dennis and his "nirvana". Did he really make it? Listening
to his tapes about his early times with LRH and how he went exterior so easily
and would often drop by his girlfriends house whilst exterior and sitting on
top of church spires and so on. Sounds wonderfull. That he could do these sort
of things suggests that Dennis is very right in saying (all too often) that he
was in very good case shape and a cut above the rest.
Given all the auditing he subsequently received and the extensive "better"
processing of TROM he must have been in his later years in extraordinarily good
spiritual condition. Nirvana must indeed have been where he was at.
Surely somebody who was so easily able to exteriorise (with full perception)
and by his own account has achieved the state of nirvana would be demonstrably
so. Yet Dennis had eye sight so bad in his final years he could hardly read or
write? Given his superb case shape why did he need body eyes at all?
Incongruity here, something doesnt add up.
Did LRH and DS ever really achieve what they said they did? Well for me I think
perhaps not. Did they believe they achieved it? and the answer I think is yes
they believe they achieved it.
So what does it all mean then? Well as somebody who has audited a lot of pc's
and seen a great many surprising things in the same I can tell you that more
than a few stated to me abilities and experiences that categorically knew NEVER
existed or were experienced yet those pc's believed they did.
Watch out for delusion David, some people can be very very convincing yet
spiritually they are as far south as you can get. There is a sort of miss
leading self certianty that goes with these people. You can get led a very long
way before you realise that it is the wrong way.
So yes I agree with you, people should put their heads together and thrash out
TROM until all is clear and understood and presentable to new folk in a way
thats easily understood. That is the responsible thing to do.
