Blainer) You should in all due respect not waste your time and effort.
I am aware of all biblical scriptures relating to the Priesthood, at
least would be very surprised if you showed me anything new. I am not
being arrogant, at least I hope I am not. However, I will be happy to
show you other scriptural evidences that elucidate what the bible has
written. Putting them all together makes for a banquet of spiritual
dining.

Blainer) According to my sources, Melchizedek ran a warehouse for the
poor and indigent, and tithes paid to him were generally used to disburse
food and etc to the needy. Many tithes were paid in kind. I doubt
Melchizedek used the tithes for his own support, this was anathema to BoM
and D&C revealed word. This is in contrast to the Priests and Levites of
the Aaronic order, who were not given an inheritance in Israel, so had to
depend on the sacrifices and tithes. The Melchizedek PH holder however,
is and always has been a Priest among the people, a leader, an
individualistic executive if you will, for the Lord. He almost
universally was a self-supporting individual. Example: The apostles,
who were all self-supporting via skills they had learned and plied from
their youth. The apostles apparently reverted to their trade whenever
they had time to ply them. Jesus had several wealthy women watching out
for him, and other friends, such as Lazarus and his sisters, but even
here there is little or no evidence he depended solely on his converts
for support. One sabbath, for example, he was accused of
sabbath-breaking by the Levitical Priests for eating grain direct from
the field on the sabbath.

Blainer) Melchizedek lived and died before Moses. How could his PH have
begun after Moses???
