Glenn - Jesus said, I am the ye, (individual people) are the branches.  Look at how DavidM said it.  The true church is made up of individual Christians who make up the Lord's congregation.  Mormons think like the Church of Christ Restoration Movement.  I don't accept other denominations as being the true church either.  Nor do I accept any or all the divisions within Mormonism as being the truth church.  The true church includes all born again people in any congregation.  Just like hell fire, Mormons are in contradiction of Jesus' teachings.

DAVEH:  This is where we disagree, Glenn.  From my point of view, I do NOT "accept other denominations" as being the 'true Church', but I do accept those churches and the members of those denominations "as Christians" because they purport to accept Jesus as their Saviour.  IMO, even if they believe the doctrines incorrectly, they are still "Christians" if they are attempting to follow in our Savior's footsteps.   And, I accept them as being my brother & sisters "because we have the same Father God".

So does this mean that people in other denominations can go to heaven or just the bottom level?  Laura

DAVEH:  We've touched on this before a bit.  IMO, anybody can go to 'heaven' if they have a covenantal relationship with the Lord.  The question becomes how one defines heaven.  LDS theology believes in 3 spheres or levels of heaven.  Those who do not have a covenantal relationship will find themselves in the lower two levels after the resurrection.
