Thanks for the answers.  I believe if Jesus is God he is not created.  If Jesus was created Jesus is not God.  Both cannot be true in my mind.  He is according to John 1:1 equal to God.  He is not the brother of anyone.  He is God.  This is why I wonder if Mormons believe in the same Jesus as I do.

is Jesus the brother of Satan?

DAVEH:  Yes,......as a "spirit brother" to Lucifer, DavidM, myself and You.  I believe our Heavenly Father created all of us as spirit children in the pre-mortal existence.  Jesus is our Elder Brother.  And as Blaine explained, the rest of us were as 'angels', some good and some not so good.  Lucifer gathered as many as he could and rebelled, thereby getting tossed out of heaven.

Is Jesus the cousin of Satan?

DAVEH:  No.....I don't make that connection.

Is Jesus God?  John 1:1.

DAVEH:  Yes.  But he is not his own Father in Heaven.  His Heavenly Father is similarly related to him (in a spirit sense) as your father is related to you in a mortal sense.  (FWIW......My answer is brief, and may leave you with a lot of questions.)
