I believe our Heavenly Father created all of us as spirit children in the pre-mortal existence. Jesus is our Elder Brother. And as Blaine explained, the rest of us were as 'angels', some good and some not so good. Lucifer gathered as many as he could and rebelled, thereby getting tossed out of heaven.

Is Jesus God? John 1:1.DAVEH: Yes. But he is not his own Father in Heaven. His Heavenly Father is similarly related to him (in a spirit sense) as your father is related to you in a mortal sense. (FWIW......My answer is brief, and may leave you with a lot of questions.)

To reiterate my belief, I believe that we all (Jesus, Lucifer, DavidM, You and me) were all created by our Father in Heaven. We are all the spirit children of our Heavenly Father, which makes us all 'related'. Jesus happens to be our Elder Brother in the Family, and Lucifer has not only parted company with us, but is endeavoring to destroy our heavenly relationship.That is a simple question without all the spin. If you and Blainer are denying Jesus is the half brother of Satan, are there not many Mormons who thus believe?
