DAVEH:  Michael, I've been so busy keeping up with Glenn, that I almost overlooked your post!   Though it is late, and I'm behind on my work, I'll try to briefly answer your questions below.........

Michael D: Dave H.,You say that the Father created Jesus.
DAVEH:  Yes.  Do you disagree?
I have a couple questions I would like you to give the LDS explanation for. If you can, I would appreciate some LDS quotes that substiantiate the answers.
DAVEH:  Much of what I am going to answer is from my conclusions drawn from my understanding of LDS theology.  I probably won't have enough documentation to satisfy your curiosity.
I am curious to know where did the Father come from?
DAVEH:  I don't know the answer to that.
What was He before He became Almighty God, and how did He become such?
DAVEH:  It is commonly accepted LDS theology that "As man is, God once was, and as God is, man may become."  He became God through a process of 'exaltation'.  (And yes, I realize that you will disagree with my belief.....I'm not trying to convince you, but rather to answer your question.)
Is Jesus God?
DAVEH:  Yes.
If so, when did He become God,
DAVEH:  I can't tell you a 'date' (not because it is a secret, but rather I simply don't know the answer), but I assume it was a verrrrrrry long time ago.
and is He also Almighty god?
DAVEH:  Yes.  But not in the context of being "Heavenly Father".  (I don't know if that makes any sense to you though.)
