Parallel Bible
Concordances

Encyclopedias, ETC.

I recommend Interlinear Bibles.

I am only vaguely familiar with the Good News Bible.  I think the best English translation is the New American Standard Bible.  I personally like to read for fun The Message Bible.

DAVEH:  Ohhhhhhhhh........that's right.  I forgot the name, and picked up the wrong one.  Thanx Glenn.
I can't put it down when reading something else.  However, The Message Bible is a paraphrase,
DAVEH:  At the same time, I picked up one called LETTERS TO YOUNG CHURCHES by JB Phillips.  It is similar in nature.
not a literal translation.
DAVEH:  Glenn.......I just picked up a copy of GOOD NEWS BIBLE.  Is that
the version you previously recommended to me?
